CLP Construction Systems was started in Singapore 1978 offering a range of subcontracting services to the construction industry including waterproofing, plastering, tiling, grouting, painting and structural repairs.

Over the next two years, CLPC gravitated towards the provision of waterproofing services. In 1980, CLPC undertook major waterproofing works in Singapore. CLPC, then, imported and used mainly Japanese waterproofing systems and construction chemicals for its projects.

Realising the need for proprietary products in the longer run, CLPC began to explore developing and producing its own range of construction chemicals in the mid 1990. To date, CLPC formulates and manufactures a wide range of waterproofing coatings, floor coatings, floor hardeners, tile adhesives, bonding agents, cementitious slurries, repair grouts, plasters and various construction chemicals.

In addition, CLPC represents several unique agencies to offer a complete product range to serve its customers in almost all their construction chemical needs.
Beyond Singapore, CLPC has established presences in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Other than Singapore, CLPC also undertakes projects in Indonesia via PT Rangalo CLP. CLPC Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam do not undertake projects and are focus on supply and distribution.
